Ny sjef i Numerical Rocks

Tidligere sjef i ResLab har akseptert tilbudet om å blir ny administrerende direktør i Numerical Rocks. Ivar Erdal fortsetter i selskapet med spesielt ansvar for forretningsutvikling.

With effect 22nd October 2009, Numerical Rocks AS are pleased to announce that Odd Hjelmeland has accepted the role of CEO. With an extensive background in the reservoir characterization business, and previously having built the core laboratory ResLab (now Weatherford Laboratories AS); Odd will be responsible for taking Numerical Rocks forward into its 6th year and further developing the business.

Ivar Erdal has, from the above date, moved to focus on sales and marketing with a particular emphasis on the business development of numerical rock analysis in the oil industry.

Numerical Rocks deliver petrophysical property data and fluid flow information in days or weeks from receipt of a sample. Using their proprietary software e-Core, results can be gained from core, cuttings and/or unconsolidated material.
